For gas and oxygen cylinders blasting equipment is used to blastclean the insides during production and blastrooms remove corrosion such as rust and scale during rebuilding.
Cylinders are positioned in the blasting stations either manually or by means of lifting gears and roller conveyors or by robot (see illustration above).
